We chose this site to be closer to Calais for our ferry home, we had to be up at 7am. We were told to choose our own pitch from a row and it was lovely, very large, bigger than some gardens with a thick hedge on 3 sides. There is a swimming pool, covered, onsite which we didn’t use as it was packed. The site is really for lodges, there seemed to be limited pitches for camping/vans. The toilet facilities I’ll comment on underneath! When we arrived they were setting up for entertainment, with food and a singer/DJ near to the entrance, we were quite a good distance away.
The music started at about 6pm, this was fine, by 10.30pm I thought it would stop soon and had turned into dance music and lots of drunk shouting, at 1.30am it finally stopped. The toilets, unisex, not very hygienic unless you like doing your washing up next to the urinals, dark and pretty grim. The bar reminded me of a rundown working men’s club and no shop so make sure you have everything you need. In view of this we won’t be returning which is a shame as the actual pitch was lovely.

Campervan - once set up with awning out for teenagers to sleep we found out that the electric on this pitch didn’t work after paying for it - it would’ve been good to have been told that before we set up.
All the above, music until 1.30am is really not good. If it wasn’t your site doing this then it would’ve been nice to have been informed there was an event going on elsewhere when booking. The toilets/showers are abysmal, I don’t want to walk in/out of a shower to some random bloke at the urinal, nor when I’m doing my washing up. I certainly wouldn’t think a young teenage girl would want that either. Maybe a bit more thought should have gone into planning rather than shoving it there just to make money. Such a shame as it could be so lovely..

Not a lot. Everything shut
Everything was closed. I had a grassy pitch that looked like it had never seen a lawnmower. The electric hookup was only just reachable even with two very long leads. In fact it had to cross over one of the roadways through the site. The site advertises fishing on its many lakes and canal bank but it’s only for residents in their permanent holiday homes with their private pontoons. I arrived as scheduled on the Sunday afternoon. There was no one about. Eventually one of the residents managed to get hold of someone to let me in but it took over an hour. Reception was still closed on Monday
